For years now (on and off) I have been doing “splash photography” in my basement on a small set. I first used a laser trigger that was made by a person in small lots. It was an expensive laser shutter trigger that was not reliable all the time. Then later I discovered the Pluto trigger. This device is awesome. It syncs with your smart phone. I use it with an Android phone. You can trigger the shutter of your DSLR camera by various events. Sound, light, laser etc. Very handy also its accurate most of the time. The Pluto Trigger has allowed me to capture of all my splash photos.
I maintain an online presence with Chicago Snapshot and a more personal site christrott.com . Keeping sites, and writing are two relatively inexpensive activities that I have knowledge and easy access to.
This is my photography site. It’s branded to Chicago and or Chicagoland. I currently live here. Love it or hate it, it is my home. I maintain this site in hopes of maybe finding fellow creatives to collaborate with and keeping the site online, gives me something to do.
